Panabo-Abujos Phoenix Fuels win RRD-Inday Sara Softball Open

The Panabo City-Abujos Phoenix Fuels relied on their experience to outscore the University of Mindanao-Main, 8-3 in the Mayor RRD-Vice Mayor Inday Sara Open Softball Tournament finals, Sunday, at the UM-Matina campus.

Eddie Manigos’ pitching prowess was again unstoppable and the young squad failed to find the solution.

“It’s actually a good experience for our young players to get a taste of defeat in the hands of an experienced team,” said UM sports director Joaquin “Boy” Sarabia.

Digos City, on the other hand, bested the Matina Boys, 4-3 to place third in the tournament organized as part of the 71^st Araw ng Dabaw Sports Festival.
