DCWD-UM, Kardams Toril top Araw ng Digos tourney

Davao City Water District-University of Mindanao and Kardams-Toril topped the recent 2011 Araw ng Digos City Softball Tournament at the Magsaysay Elementary School grounds.
DCWD-UM defeated Tagum City, 3-1 in the men's final with pitcher Ryan Sarabia registering five strikeouts while Kardams-Toril beat UM-Tagum City in the women's championship game.
Tadeco took the second runner-up honors while host Digos City managed to take fourth place in the men's class while UM Davao City settled at third in the women's division.
The tournament was organized by the City Government of Digos with the support of the Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines-Davao Chapter.
